Course 9

POWER PRINCIPLES

The early church was born in a demonstration of the power of God, not through great public speakers or theological debate. As in the early church, there also must be a demonstration of the power of God. They do not really understand the power of the Gospel. Many ministers today are well-educated. They preach with enticing words of man's wisdom, but there is no demonstration of the Holy Spirit and power. If your faith is to stand in the power of God instead of the wisdom of man, you must experience the same flow of power, as did the early church.

Course 10

THE PROPHETIC ANOINTING

We are living in a prophetic season. Jesus wants to communicate with His Church and has things He wants to say to us today. Developing our prophetic anointing comes as we develop our relationship with Jesus. As we draw aside from our busy lives and spend time with God and ask Him to speak to us, we will hear His voice more and more clearly. Prophets are able to see and hear directly from God and are divine channels that open portals in the Spirit. Their words are divinely sanctioned by God and anointed by the Holy Spirit. God has commissioned them to impart the prophetic anointing to the Body of Christ in these last days. They are called to stir up the prophetic Spirit in each believer.

Major Courses (5)

Course 11

ADOLESCENT DEVELOPMENT

No matter how uninformed, ill-equipped, and unqualified we may feel, many of us are confronted with the questions and situations that our youth today are facing. We may not be sure what the qualifications for the job might be, but many of us are utterly convinced that we don't have what it takes. All of this points to the counselor's need for wisdom and discernment. Some of this comes with experience, but Christian know that sensitivity more often comes when we pray, asking for the insights, guidance, and accurate perception that come from the Holy Spirit.

Course 12

TEACHING TACTICS

"Teaching" is the act of instructing another person. Biblical teaching includes imparting knowledge and demonstrating how to apply that knowledge to personal life and ministry. "Tactics" are methods used to achieve a goal, purpose, or objective. In the military, the subject of "tactics" teaches soldiers how to use their weapons to achieve an advantage over the enemy. The same is true on the spiritual world. If we apply God's methods or "tactics," we can conquer spiritual enemies which include the world, the flesh and Satan with all his powers. In this course you will learn how to use a great spiritual weapon. That weapon is the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God.

Course 13

PRINCIPLES OF CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

It is the responsibility of parents (and other parent figures) to ensure that children are raised to be God-gearing Christians to make a difference. The earlier we can reach children for God, the greater the potential impact that they can have. Through a partnership with the parents, Christian schools help to share the type of person a child will grow into. It is important that Christian education offers the type of renewing (that is not available outside of Christian education) that glorifies and edifies God. This is why Christians should involved parents that are concerned with the education that is being offered to their children.

Course 14

CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT

There have been many philosophers, educational psychologists, and educators that have influenced the current trends of educating young people today. Education and instruction began in ancient history. Envision if you will, Adam, the first man teaching Eve and his children the names that he gave to all the living things God created. Imparting to them the knowledge that God by the Holy Spirit had given to him. The teacher is an informed guide whose knowledge of a given area enables him to direct a learner's efforts to attain wisdom, thus saving the learner's time and strength and helping him to discern truth from error. The teacher is primarily a learner. You cannot impart what you do not possess. If you stop growing today, you stop teaching tomorrow. A teacher is responsible to know the content of what is being taught and whom it is that he is teaching.

Course 15

CREATIVE BIBLE STUDY METHODS

This course introduces the Bible as the written Word of the one true God. It explains divisions of the Bible, versions, translations, and paraphrases. First, the course guides you to discover what the Bible teaches about itself, then creative methods are explained and you are given the opportunity to use each method discussed. The course also explains how to outlines, make study notes, mark your Bible for easy reference, and reduce lengthy passages to simple charts. The course guides you to proper interpretation and application of God's Word. It directs attention to the greatest Teacher of all, the Holy Spirit. If you follow the guidelines presented, you will experience a new, creative spiritual life flowing within you.
