MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES:
Our eight Bachelor Degrees prepare students either for ordained ministry in a Christian church, Bible College, or for a wider engagement in society.
PRE-REQUISITE:
Students wanting to enter the 60-credit Bachelor Degree program must have completed a Diploma in Ministry or an equivalent of 60 credit hours.
POST-GRADUATE OPPORTUNITY:
Upon completion of any of the eight streams, students will be able to enter the Honours Degree (a bridging course that leads to Master's Degree).
ACADEMIC YEAR: Preaching Insight Christian University does not have a prescribed academic year. Students may start their studies at any time of the year.
Eight Degree Streams
Bachelor Degree in Theology
This engages students in the systematic study of the Scriptures and theology while being exposed to current theological issues that will enable independent Biblical and constructive thinking in vital areas of ministry
Bachelor Degree in Ministry
This provides students with an in-depth Biblical foundation to supply the values, knowledge and skills needed to effectively serve in church ministry; and, develop initial skills for pastoral ministry
Bachelor Degree in Christian Education
This provides students insights gained from Biblical disciplines for the effective practice of Christian education in the church and the community; and, to be competent in both pastoral and educational practices
Bachelor Degree in Christian Counseling
This provides necessary knowledge, practice, and skills for working with individuals, couples, children, families, and small groups in a variety of mental health settings; and, be conversant with an array of counseling approaches, both Christian and secular
Bachelor Degree in Prophetic Ministry
This provides students to achieve personal growth in the prophetic ministry through the integration of theory and practice; and, to understand how to discern the voice of God and know when God speaks
Bachelor Degree in Apostolic Ministry
This helps students to identify what is needed to restore authentic apostolic foundations so that the church can function effectively and in unity in the present-day environment
Bachelor Degree in Christian Entrepreneurship
This helps students to understand that God uses marketplace ministry typically to evangelise the secular workplace as opposed to homes, churches, or specialized venues; that any Christian can fulfill their desire to serve God in the workplace
Bachelor Degree in Ministry Honours
This allows students to enter any of the eight Master's Degree streams. This degree, which is composed of six prepared modules or courses, is designed for busy ministers who do not have ample time to do research works--the traditional way to achieving a Master's Degree
